The best-attended camp of the year: forty-two young people for six days inside a rural park — nature, hard work and life in common.

Parco Margariti, in Bruzzano Zeffirio, is where the Attendiamoci method becomes most literal: you work the land, you cook for forty people, you keep in order a place that, with no one to look after it, goes back to scrub in one season.

Forty-two participants from the Cammino +18, three volunteers, six days. It is the largest of all the 2025 residential camps, and not by chance: summer is when the content of a year of meetings stops being talk.

Thirty-six people — adults, couples and children — held together by ten volunteers. Ferragosto, the mid-August holiday, spent building something instead of consuming it.

Attendiamoci started out as something for young people, but for years now parents have been asking to do the same thing. The camp for adults and families is the answer: five days at Parco Margariti with the children in tow.

Thirty-six participants and ten volunteers — the highest ratio of the year, because a camp with families needs more hands than one with twenty-year-olds alone. The volunteers are the reason a regular donation matters: they cover the costs that no public grant pays for.

Nine strands of activity open to the neighbourhood: workshops, sport, music, tactical urbanism. Over 555 attendances in one summer.

Attendiamoci's summer activities are normally for those already on its programmes. "Tutta un'Altra Estate" opened them to the city: nine strands of activity between the Villaggio dei Giovani and the Parco Lineare Sud, inside Estate Reggina 2025 and with the support of the city council.

Educational and creative workshops, sport and music, and even tactical urbanism — redrawing pieces of public space with the people who live there. Over 555 attendances recorded.

The point was not to fill August. In a neighbourhood where young people are left on their own all summer, an open door with something to do behind it is already a youth policy.
